Mon blog cherche à vulgariser la sociologie rurale au Sénégal. Il me permet, en même temps, de mettre en ligne mes différentes activités pédagogiques à l'Université Gaston Berger de Saint-Louis. De temps en temps, je présente quelques personnalités fortes de l'UGB qui ont gagné mon estime grâce à leur engagement pour la connaissance.
Issiaka-Prosper Lalèyê, has been professeur of epistemology an anthroplogy in the sociology Departement of Gaston Bergrer University in Saint-Louis (Sénégal) since 1990. He was aditor-in-chef of the University's multidisciplinary review, Université, Recherche et Développement from 1993 to 2003. Born in Benin in 1942, he gained his PHD IN 1970 in the University of Fribourg (Suisse), and State Doctorate in 1988 in the University of Paris V. He was written many articles on African Philosophy, teaching philosophy in Africa, anthropology et epistemology.
